The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Stirrup irons have been used by English riding disciplines for horseback riding for many centuries. The stirrup iron suspends from the stirrup leather, which is attached to the tree of the saddle under the skirt. The stirrup iron provides a stable area for the foot to be placed for mounting (getting on) your horse. Once riding, the stirrup iron continues to offer a sturdy flat base of support on which the rider places the ball of the foot and assists in the allowing the rider to keep their heels down & leg on the horse for communication while riding. Stirrup Irons get their name from having been forged from iron centuries ago when horses were first domesticated for riding. Although today they are made from a variety of materials, many designs are based upon the classic design forged in a fire and made from Iron.
